Primley view is the home of individuals who are all unique, so care will be designed, delivered, then evaluated to make sure each resident is enabled and esteemed as someone who feels they are special. Primley view is a home in the community, so a principal aim to maintain, renew and make valid links for the residents with relatives, friends, neighbours and, where feasible, to make ones with new people.
There will be no discrimination on the basis of gender, creed, race, age or diagnosis. Relating to every resident as an equal will mean Primley view is a home not an institution.
The rationale that informs these policies confirms to certain and constant standards, but this thinking is changed in the light of experience. So there is a continuous need to review our style and method of caring during the evolution of the home. Since Primley View is unlike any other home, its policies will both result from and direct what happens here-they cannot be delivered for stereotypes or applied, unmodified, elsewhere.
