Welcome to Stackpool Road

Stackpool Road provides accommodation and support to individuals that access mental health services. We are committed to the recovery of our clients, focusing on what they find meaningful in life. Crucial to this is respecting the privacy and confidentiality of our clients, allowing them to have time to themselves and free from intrusion into their affairs.

Privacy is also a priority, as information shall only be shared with agencies and health professionals where this is appropriate and beneficial to the client. We will always put the client at the front and centre of any decision making related to their support. The client will always be involved, and we believe that they are capable of making their own choices regarding their lifestyle. We aim to provide all the relevant information available to our clients to empower them to make their own informed decisions without being dictated to. We recognise the importance of working together to increase a sense of inclusion, value and community with our clients.

Our on call service is available twenty four hours a day, seven days a week, if required Ensuring that if our clients need our support or reassurance we will provide it without reducing levels of independence.

Our Purpose

We provide accommodation and support to individuals that access mental health services.

We aim to actively encourage each individual to take positive steps towards improving their life, with the overall aim of moving towards minimal support and increased independence without compromising the safety or security of the individual. This may of course lead to the gradual withdrawal of intervention, controlled by the service user’s needs and requirements, as they move towards independence. We respect an individual’s right to privacy, dignity, confidentiality, information and choice. A person should be allowed to feel content not only with their choices, but also with whom they are as individuals.

Our goal is to create environments that empower individuals to form a greater connection with themselves and others. Also to enable clients to exercise control over their support environment creating a bespoke service, whilst at all times ensuring the safety of those who live and work at Stackpool road and providing high quality, effective and efficient support to all our clients, tailored to the specific needs of each individual, fostering an atmosphere of inclusion, welcoming anyone who expresses an interest and is eligible for services, whilst always ensuring any placement is carefully considered and designed with the individual’s needs at the centre.

We will always actively respond to the latest local and national legislation, integrating this into our policies and procedures.
