Report Date: 14 July 2017
The Leonard Elms Care Home is split into two units. The Elms Unit provides Nursing for the Elderly and is joined with the Leonard Unit which provides Dementia Care.
It is a very spacious period farmhouse which has been professionally converted and extended into an attractive Nursing Home. The communial areas of the Home have recently been refurbished and provide a perfect setting for the residents to relax and enjoy the view of the well kept gardens and pond.
The home is situated in a rural setting on the edge of the village of Congresbury.
Our Philosophy is to ensure that Residents and Relatives are consulted and supported with any decisions required to be made including collaboration with other Healthcare Professionals.
To our Residents this is their home and this is evidence by the number of pets we have recently acquired in the home. Our gardens are looking magnificent thanks to the hard work by one of our residents. These beautiful gardens are commented on and enjoyed by all who live in and visit the home.
