Claro Homes offers accommodation in a safe environment for younger adults with mental ill-health concerns, anxiety, depression, personality disorder and those who also suffer with affective mood disorders and schizophrenia, acquired brain injury and adults with challenging behavior or complex needs.
Claro Homes offers innovative approaches to complex problems for clients between the ages of 18-65 with flexible care packages subject to assessment of needs.
Our multi-disciplinary team of nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists and speech and language therapists work closely with consultants, GPs, specialist nurses, psychiatrists, psychologists, music therapists and mental health teams in the local community.
In addition we are supported with psychiatry and psychology services which mean that we can provide complex specialist clinical and nursing support to individuals suffering from a range of disorders.

Our treatment, rehabilitation and education services lead to early recovery and can result in earlier discharge from acute settings, reduction in care needs and achievement of personal goals.

Client Accommodation
Bedrooms are bright, practical studio style offering the service user the opportunity to personalise their own room space to their individual requirement. The home is split into 5 separate living spaces to promote independence and security to the 54 rooms on site.
Communal Space
Every client has access to a range of lounges and communal dining facilities including outside space that offers opportunity for relaxation, entertainment, activities and therapeutic engagement. Gardens are secure with opportunity for one to find their own personal space for thought and contemplation when required.
Assistance with Daily Living Skills
With a focus on rehabilitation clients are encouraged to develop their daily living skills, experience risk which is essential for their personal growth and development, manage their own affairs with support and assistance, maximising the individuals activity to achieve their goals and aspirations.
Access to Education and Occupation
With clear management strategies seeking the possible we have achieved client college and education attendance, meaningful employment and secured long term job opportunities. For those seeking a more relaxed social integration, the home has access to shops, churches, local leisure centre and close by The Windmill Hill City Farm.
Mental Health
With over 25 years of experience in the care and support of people with mental health diagnosis, we provide a service that ensures people progress through the recovery model to being able to have fulfillment in a more independent life.
Supported Living Services
With outcomes based around independence Claro's experienced team ensure that clients can achieve the goals they aim for. For some clients this will be to move to houses the organisation has in the community funded by Community Care and Support.
Respite Care
We offer breaks for carers in the community offering safe personal space for people where safeguards are in place for a set period of time. Respite stays could also be used for trial periods for people to understand and be reassured it is the right environment for them to move into for medium or long term accommodation.
Complex Needs
Providing care and treatment programmes for people with multiple needs such as dual diagnosis of learning and / or physical disabilities, acquired brain injuries, challenging behaviour, dementia and a variety of other complex conditions.
