The seaside town of Paignton originates from a Celtic settlement and now forms part of the English Riviera with harbour, gardens and promenade offering the perfect evening stroll.

Primley View care home offers unrivaled vistas over Torquay bay. Nestled on a hilltop, residents enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the ever-changing sea, sailboats, and seagulls. The stunning views create a peaceful atmosphere, providing daily doses of nature's unmatched beauty.
An impressive Victorian Villa Style House typical of the area, fronts two architecturally designed modern care facilities offering safe and secure traditional comforts and character features. With meaningful wondering space incorporating dementia design characteristics, light and spacious; the center invokes opportunity for socialisation and meaningful activity.

Community and Social Areas
The Court has three lounge areas; a large dining area also acts as a focus for social interaction and organised events. A quiet lounge is provided and Media suite offers large screen entertainment. Residents may have access to a wonderful outdoor secure patio area that provides a therapeutic vista and views across the bay. For the convenience of visitors complementary access to WiFi is provided.
Resident Accommodation
All rooms are private and offer comfort and security many with personal en-suite and some premium rooms have significant sea views where residents can enjoy the peace of coastal living. A 24- hour emergency nurse call system; beds are electronically adjustable for comfort and multi- postural positioning; storage is provided for personal belongings and we encourage personalisation of decor.
Good food - an important part of our lives
For many of us, the enjoyment of good food is an important part of our lives. Our team of chefs do their upmost to accommodate our residents wishes through the preparation of attractive meals using the freshest of local ingredients. The menu choices change each season and include many traditional dishes. We cater for those with special dietary needs and specific clinical nutritional requirements.
Activities and Social Events
You will have access to a varied programme of activities and entertainment. Keeping active is as important as social stimulation. Our dedicated activities team run a social program which includes trips out to local attractions or a short stroll for a cream tea. Music for health and arm chair exercise provide activity choices. We focus not only on physical health but also on your spiritual wishes.

Optima Care have specialist nursing services with specially trained staff that understand the challenges associated with complex dementia conditions; helping those who are distressed or at risk of harming themselves.
Mental Health
It is normal for everyone to feel worried or experience difficult emotions at times. For most people this is temporary and resolved naturally with out long term problem. We are here for YOU.
General Nursing Care
Treatment of disease, disorder or injury accredited nursing care services for those with long term conditions; higher clinical care and personal support needs.

Clarissa joined Primley Court Nursing Home in 2015 as a Clinical Nurse Specialist. Her wealth of clinical and managerial experience has contributed to Primley Court becoming a Care Home of distinction.
